However, the team from the Slovenian capital has played one game more.

That same Ljubljana, of all teams, is visiting Bolzano today (kick-off at 18 p.m.). The Slovenians got off to a brilliant start to the new season, celebrating six wins in six games, one of them in overtime. However, on Friday, they suffered their first defeat at the hands of the Vienna Capitals. Coach Ben Cooper's team suffered a 3-1 defeat in Vienna.

Last season, Ljubljana finished eighth in the regular season, losing to HC Pustertal in the pre-playoffs. HCB Südtirol defeated Olimpija three times in four games last season, once in overtime. Most recently, Daniel Frank and his team suffered a 2-1 overtime defeat away at the Green Dragons in January.
