Season start with derby cracker! The ICE calendar is here
This Monday, the ICE Hockey League published the schedule for the 2024/25 season. South Tyrol's ice hockey fans can already mark a date in their calendars with a red pen.

The two local ice hockey giants, HC Bozen and HC Pustertal, will meet in the Sparkasse Arena on the second match day and thus on the first championship weekend. The duel is the first highlight of a regular season that includes 48 games per team and ends with the last regular season game on February 21, 2025.
The 13 ICE clubs will start on Friday, 20 SeptemberThe season begins with a home game for both South Tyrolean teams: Bozen hosts Linz, Pustertal hosts last year's playoff opponent Fehérvár. Just two days later, the first derby of the season between the Foxes and the Wolves will take place in Bozen. The duel is scheduled for Sunday at 18 p.m. On All Saints Day (November 1), fans will be able to enjoy a derby for the first time this season in the Intercable Arena.

Another highlight in the first phase of the season is Fehérvár's first appearance in the new, state-of-the-art Alba Arena on September 27 against KAC. Asiago, on the other hand, will start the 2024/25 season with seven away games due to renovation work at their home Odegar Stadium.
Mode remains unchanged
The format will remain unchanged for the 2024/25 season: The best six teams at the end of the regular season qualify directly for the quarter-finals. Those teams ranked seventh to tenth will play in the pre-playoffs (format: best-of-3) for the remaining two places in the quarter-finals. The subsequent playoffs will be played in best-of-7 format.The first 2 rounds at a glance:
