NHL playoffs: Edmonton fights back

The Edmonton Oilers moved to 5-2 in the NHL semifinal series (best-of-7) with a 2-2 home win against Dallas. Game five takes place on Saturday night in Texas.

The “oil men” had little to do at the start of the game. After just 58 seconds, Wyatt Johnston made it 1-0 for the Stars. Esa Lindell (6th/deflected shot) increased the score to 2-0.

The home team corrected the situation in the first third. Ryan McLeod and Evan Bouchard scored to make it 1-2. When outnumbered, Mattias Janmark (2th) made it 35-3 for Edmonton.

With his 10th playoff goal of the season, Leon Draisaitl increased the score to 4:2. After that, the Oilers managed confidently. Mattias Ekholm made the final score 5-2 with a shot into the empty goal - Connor McDavid did the preparatory work for three Oilers goals.

In the second semifinal series the score is also 2-2 between the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers. Game 5 of the series takes place on Friday night.
