De Luca has signed a new contract with the Swiss cult club until the end of the 2027/28 season. The attacker earned the new four-year contract last season when he made his breakthrough at Ambrí-Piotta. In 45 appearances, including 4 in the playoffs, De Luca scored a total of 21 points (11 goals and 10 assists).
De Luca is considered one of Italy's great young hopes alongside Damian Clara and Tommy Purdeller. The young man from Aosta moved to Ambrí's youth department in 2017. To date, De Luca has made 15 appearances for the Italian national team.
