Despite family drama: Swiss ice hockey star shines

The Ice Hockey World Championship in Denmark and Stockholm had a particularly touching story in store on Monday.

At the Ice Hockey World Championship, Switzerland celebrated a 3-0 victory against the USA on Monday. One of the big protagonists on the ice was Kevin Fiala, who joined the Swiss team just a few hours ago. The reason for this is a sad one, as the NHL star of the Los Angeles Kings explained to the View revealed.


"My wife was pregnant for the second time, but unfortunately we lost the child. The last week was emotionally difficult for us, for the whole family," says Fiala. Austria takes first victory

While Switzerland is on a winning streak in Denmark, Austria also celebrated its first victory in the parallel group in Stockholm. The ÖEHV team beat Slovakia 3-2 on penalty shootout on Monday, securing their first two points.
