Slovenia is shaking its way to promotion

The Slovenian national ice hockey team achieved promotion in Bolzano. On Friday afternoon she celebrated her third victory at the World Championships in the 1st Division (Group A) in Talferstadt.

However, the 3-1 win against Japan was truly hard-fought. In front of 1.750 spectators, Mehle and Simsic gave the Eastern Europeans an early 2-0 lead, but the big tremors began after Nakajima's goal halfway through the game. Japan created several good chances, but in the end they couldn't turn the game around. Drozg ultimately made the decision.

Because Italy lost against Hungary 2-3 after extra time in the evening, Slovenia can no longer be pushed out of the first two places. In the final match on Saturday against Hungary (19.30 p.m.) the Slovenians are “only” concerned with winning the tournament.
