Athletics: European Championship silver for Paolo Dal Molin

Fabulous time and silver medal for Paolo Dal Molin on the first day of the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg. The 25-year-old from the Athletic Club '96 in Bolzano beat his best time by eight hundredths over 60 m. The Italian record is now 7,51 (previously 7.57). With this fantastic time, Dal Molin only had to admit defeat to the Russian Shubenkov. On Saturday it will be Silvia Weissteiner's turn.
