Reschenseelauf is in the starting blocks

The simple, fast and, above all, fulfilling run around the famous Lake Reschen will get everyone moving, starting with the children in the “Children's Apple Race” (at 13:30 p.m.). Lots of surprises await you here, and all little participants will be rewarded with a shield cap and the obligatory finisher's medal at the end of the race. In the late afternoon, the handbikers, the runners of the main race, the just-for-fun participants and finally the Nordic walkers will race one after the other to the finish on the picturesque 15,3 km long route.

The event's festival area will be located in the extensive green area at the start and finish points, just a few meters from the famous Graun Tower. All important facilities such as showers, information stands, start number distribution, market, expo area, food and parking will be conveniently available. The organizational team, led by Gerald Burger, can count on numerous volunteers and local clubs who take care of the six refreshment points along the route, which are located at kilometers 5, 7, 11, 13, 14 and of course at the finish. Not to be forgotten are those who will serve typical South Tyrolean dishes in the festival tent.

People always like to return to this fairytale place on Lake Reschen. Running where your heart leads is the best feeling, which South Tyrolean Hermann Achmüller knows very well and can count the number of Reschenseelauf editions he hasn't completed on one hand. The same applies to the German Konstantin Wedel, who holds the record on the 15,3 km route and has played a big role in recent editions. Both can be considered record holders of the South Tyrolean event and have already confirmed their participation for 2023. You can register online until July 9th and benefit from the cheapest prices, both for the main race and for the Just for Fun run, the Nordic walking and handbike events as well as the apple race. Also worth mentioning is the great sports bag included in the starter pack of the highly anticipated 23rd edition.

This summer, Vinschgau is completely immersed in sport, and as a foretaste of the Reschenseelauf, the “Terra Raetica Trails-Tour Festival” will take place in Graun on July 8th. From July 16th to 23rd, altitude training will take place under the direction of New York Marathon winner Franca Fiacconi. Magic and surprises will accompany the weekend in Vinschgau: on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th July you should not miss the spectacular water and light show on the water of Lake Reschen, created by video artist Stefano Di Buduo from 22:30 p.m Clock is presented.

Registrations for the popular Reschenseelauf, the race in the heart of the Vinschgau, are in full swing. The 1500 participant mark was recently reached and preparations for the 23rd edition have been underway for a long time.
