High-class four-way battle at the Ladurner Grand Prix final in Meran

In the age group up to 16 years, the program included two races over 80m and 600m as well as the long jump and the shot put. For the girls, hurdle specialist Alessandra Realdon from the Bozen Running Club won the four-way competition with 2968 points, ahead of her club colleague Valeria Mura, who won the 80 m sprint, in which six athletes finished under 11,00 seconds. Stefanie Gruber from SV Lana also showed a strong performance in the shot put with 11.70m.

Among the boys of the same age, Mario Buniolo from Brixen was the fastest over 80m, ahead of his teammate and the overall winner Alex Baú. He also won the shot put. The final sprint over 600m was exciting, which Alex Cavalleri won with just five hundredths of a lead over Lorenzo Telchini.

Julia Mair and Patrick Baù win the U14 four-way competition In the U14 category, however, 60m, 600m, high jump and vortex were part of the all-round competition. In the girls' category, Julia Mair from Merano took the overall ranking with 2708 points. She set two daily records over 60 m and in the vortex. But her teammate Anna Menz from Marling provided the best performance over 600m in an excellent 1:45.00 minutes. Linda Enrich from Laion managed 1.46m in the high jump.

For the U14 boys, the overall victory in the all-round competition went to Patrick Baù from Brixen. There were four different winners in the four disciplines held. Baù won the 600m in 1:44,61 minutes, his teammate Alexander Paris jumped 1,43m, Lorik Bajrami from Lana managed 50.22m in the vortex and Thomas Iellici from Bolzano won the 60m sprint in 8.15 seconds.
