The Reschenseelauf is getting closer
The 13th edition of the Reschenseelauf will take place in Graun on July 24th. The participants want to smash the course records that have existed for many years.

It was in 2017 that Emmie Collinge (GBR), European and World Champion in mountain running, set the women's record with an excellent 52.54 minutes, and just two years later Konstantin Wedel (GER) stopped the stopwatch at 47.23 minutes - another record. He is chasing his fourth victory at Reschen this year.
While registrations are still possible, both record holders have already registered. Tereza Hrochova from the Czech Republic and Greta Haselrieder, the runner from Bruneck, took first and second place in last year's Reschenseelauf. They were so impressed by the uniqueness and spectacle of the race that they promptly promised to come back in the future. A promise that both are keeping by taking part again.
Reschensee Run as Olympic preparation
Hrochova will start as the favorite, she has already been national champion 15 times and can point to important participations and placings at the Olympic Games, the Marathon World Championships and, last but not least, the recent European Championships in Rome. Not to mention that the Czech already has a passport for the Olympic Games in Paris and the Reschenseelauf will be one of her last appointments before arriving in the French capital.Tereza Hrochova is an absolute star in the running scene. © Newspower.it
Also taking part is Khalid Jbari, who triumphed in 2018 and took third place in the 2022 edition. Also taking part are the "most loyal" Michael Burger, Günther Angerer and Roswita Tragust, who have taken part in all editions of the race and who will not be missing this year either.
The Reschenseelauf is open to everyone and, as Gerald Burger, head of the organizing committee, reminds us, “it is a global event in which many people of different age groups take part.
The Reschenseelauf is an important event for promoting tourism. There is no such thing as over-tourism in the Vinschgau: an area that combines its tourist tradition with its sporting tradition, a place that is a real attraction for athletes and especially for runners."
