In the A class of black belts, Thomas Mittermair won the final in the U18 weight class -78 kg against Jacob Prossliner, who came second in this class. Markus Zadra (59) delivered an extremely exciting fight in the semi-finals of the A class of men +80 kg against the reigning Austrian heavyweight champion Saidi Sayed Isa (23). At times, Zadra was even in the lead and only narrowly missed out on winning the second round because of a single warning. He thus won the bronze medal.
Gabriele Cera came fifth in the men's A class -80 kg and Stefania Nicolini also came fifth in the women's A class -57 kg. In the coloured belts, David Dissertori won the day in the U-18 youth weight class -68 kg, while his club colleague Noah Battisti came second in the same class. Anna Datz delivered a great final fight in the U-18 youth weight class +68 kg, narrowly losing to a Swiss athlete and coming second.
