At the international Taekwondo tournament in Turin, where a total of 900 athletes from 4 nations participated, Markus Zadra and Gabriele Cera (both ASV Zadra-fighting/rothoblaas) from Kurtatsch won two medals in the Master classes (fighters aged 35 and over).

Markus Zadra won the gold medal in the Masters +80 kg heavyweight division after winning both his semi-final and final matches with a clear points lead. His teammate Gabriele Cera won his semi-final match but was narrowly defeated in the final, securing bronze in the Masters -80 kg division.
