Successful conclusion of a challenging tournament

With a total of 14 athletes, the Taekwondo Südtirol Eurotherm team successfully participated in the Junior Cup 2025.

The long journey to the picturesque coastal city of Savona in Liguria was rewarded with an intense and athletically demanding day of competition with 550 participants. This tournament also marked the last competition before the final preparations for the Italian Championships for black belts under 21 and red belts in the junior and senior categories, which will take place in Jesolo in two weeks.

All participants demonstrated great commitment, fighting spirit, and sporting ambition. Special mention goes to those athletes who achieved exceptional results: Elena Laterner secured the gold medal in the black belt category after three strong fights – her first ever tournament victory. Jovan Gacov also earned his first medal in the black belt category. Anna Gruber, Jole Zilli, and Giacomo Porrino impressed with outstanding performances and each won their respective classes.
