“Hope to see Jannik”: Antonelli is Sinner’s superfan

The Austrian Grand Prix didn't go as planned for Kimi Antonelli – even though he finished the race in third place. His lead over Spielberg winner George Russell shrank slightly, but at 40 points it's still a comfortable one. The youngster will be looking to deliver the right response this Sunday when the next race takes place at Silverstone.

In the past, the Grand Prix and the men's final at Wimbledon often took place simultaneously. This year, to the delight of the many tennis-loving Formula 1 drivers, there is no such overlap. One of them is Antonelli, who witnessed Jannik Sinner's triumph at the ATP Finals last year. Now the 19-year-old is planning his next visit to the tennis stadium.
