Jorge Martin won the MotoGP sprint at the Sachsenring on Saturday. With a narrow lead of 0,676 seconds over second-placed Miguel Oliveira, the Spaniard took the win and thus further extended his lead in the overall World Cup. Third place on Saturday went to Italian racing driver Francesco Bagnaia (+1,311 seconds).
Martin has been on the podium in each of the last four races. So far this season he has already won two races: in Algarve (Portugal) and in Le Mans (France). And tomorrow, Sunday, at the big race at the Sachsenring, Vice World Champion Jorge Martin has a good chance of winning.

Eight-time champion Marc Márquez, who was riding with a broken finger and a bruised chest, finished in sixth place. The Spanish star was hampered in qualifying by wildcard holder Stefan Bradl. Due to the misunderstanding, Bradl was relegated to the last starting position for the Grand Prix on Sunday (14.00 p.m./Sky and DF1). In the sprint, the Bavarian finished 19th.
