Podium finishes and top results in Mantua
At the fourth round of the Motocross North-East Championship, which also counted towards the Trento/Bolzano Regional Championship, a total of 277 riders took to the starting line in Mantua – including numerous South Tyrolean pilots. The results were impressive: several top-five finishes, a podium place in the MX2 Rider class, and consistent performances across all categories.

In the 65 Debutant class, Aaron Trafoier narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth, with Alex Federa from MC Neumarkt right behind him in fifth place. In the 65 Cadetti category, Lenny Trafoier finished 12th, and Leonhard Holzer (Alp-Riders Meran) came in 15th.
In the Junior 85 category, Felix Tschager (Alp-Riders Meran) finished tenth. The South Tyrolean riders in the Senior 85 class had to contend with difficult conditions: Matteo Benamati (MC Arco) finished 27th, while Jakob Gampenrieder (Alp-Riders Meran) only managed to complete one run after a crash, finishing 29th. Solid results were also achieved in the other classes: Milena Taibon (Alp-Riders Meran) finished 11th in the women's race. In the Junior 125 category, Liam Pichler (MC Berbenno) impressed with a fourth-place finish, Elia Fulco (MC Arco) came in eighth, and David Schieder (Alp-Riders Meran) finished 21st. Simon Eisenstecken (Alp-Riders Meran) finished 13th in the Senior 125 category.
A highlight for South Tyrol came in the MX2 Rider class: Simon Herbst (TTS) rode a strong race and secured second place. Hannes Pfattner (Alp-Riders Meran) completed a strong team result with fifth place. Other placings: Andrea Asinari (Scuderia Dolomiti) 14th, Matteo Brusinelli (MSL) 17th, and Samuel Gottardi (MC Evergreen) 31st. In the MX2 Challenge, Matthias Hoeller (TTS) finished sixth, Harald Buchschwenter (Ferlu Racing) 15th, and Jakob Koehl (MSL) 16th. In the MX2 Expert class, Alex Gruber (MC Brixen) finished seventh, and Dominik Varotto (Ferlu Racing) came in twelfth. Georg Falser (Ferlu Racing) finished sixth in the MX1 Expert class.
There were also strong results in the veteran classes: In the Open Superveteran, Mario Franzoi (Ferlu Racing) finished fourth, Helmuth Braun (MC Neumarkt) tenth, Stefano Brusinelli (MSL) eleventh, and Davide Varotto (Ferlu Racing) twelfth. In the Open Master, Norbert Lantschner (MC Evergreen) finished second, confirming his strong form, while Maurizio Lubian (Ferlu Racing) came in ninth.
Podium finish also at the Italian Championships in San Marino
Norbert Lantschner had already made a name for himself on the national stage: At the second round of the Italian AMA Over 40 Rider Championship in San Marino, the veteran rider secured a strong third place in the MX2 Master class. Andrea Asinari (Scuderia Dolomiti) finished 31st in the MX2 Rider class.Edit Profile
