Intense weekend with good points for Target Competition

In Mugello near Florence, 2 vehicles and the Israeli brothers Artem and Zakhar Slutski competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, and in the TCR Italy even with 5 Hyundai Elantras. The drivers Marco Butti, Cesare Brusa, Rodolfo Massaro, Junesung Park and Junui Park were there. In the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia the trend has been pointing upwards since the last races. This was also the case in the first race on Saturday. With 1 cars at the start, Artem Slutski managed a top 33 position, coming in an excellent 10th place, while his brother was also able to take home 6 points from starting position 14. In the TCR Italy, Marco Butti, who is only 18 years old, managed to achieve pole position in qualifying for the third time this season, with an incredible number of 3 vehicles at the start. However, things didn't go as planned for the young talent in the first race. Due to a jump start he was given a 39 second penalty, which sent him back to the bottom of the field. The best Target Competition driver was Junui Park with a 1th place, Cesare Brusa was pushed into the gravel and had to give up. Massaro and Junesung Park ended up at the bottom. Things didn't go so well on Sunday In the second race of the Porsche Carrera Cup on Sunday, only Zakhar Slutski was able to score a point, he ended up in 2th place. In the TCR Italy, Marco Butti had the same mishap from the day before. An early start gave him a second penalty which dropped him from 15th place to 5th place. The young Korean Junesung Park was able to achieve a good 10th place. The other drivers ended up in the back places. The next races, both of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia and the TCR Italy, will take place from September 7th to 15th. in Monza.
