10. Ultner Höfelauf is just around the corner

Thanks to the many volunteers and the organizers, the ASV Telecom Team South Tyrol and the Ultental/Provei Tourism Association, the annual Ultentaler Höfelauf has been given a strong popular character. In addition to the professionals, numerous amateur athletes and families are expected at the tenth edition. Like last year, there will be a children's run of 0,5 or 1,0 kilometers, a "Special Olympics run" of 1,0 kilometers, a fun run of 8,4 kilometers and a "classic run" of 17,9 kilometers. With the “Guat Gongen” category, the organizers are also giving hike and Nordic walking fans the opportunity to take part in the traditional event.

The children's runs and the “Special Olympics Run” start at Kuppelwies and end on the lake route. The fun run goes from Kuppelwies to St. Nikolaus and back. The route of the “Classic Run” is based on the popular Ultner Höfeweg, which leads from Kuppelwies to St. Gertraud and on the other side of the valley back to the start/finish point. The favorites include Brixenmarathon winner Edeltraud Thaler from Lana and Hermann Achmüller from Palatinate. Dominik Paris and Siegmarklotz will take part in the fun run.

Rudi Brunner won the ninth edition with a time of 1:11,05 hours. Stefan Mair and Nino La Marchina took second and third place. In the women's race, Helga Flora Platzgummer reached the finish in 1:32,06 hours, one minute faster than Verena Pratzner, who came second. Meanwhile, Johanna Dellemann and Michael Burger won the fun run.

10. Ultner Höfelauf is just around the corner

On Sunday the starting signal for the anniversary edition of the Ultentaler Höfelauf will be fired in Ultental at 9:15 a.m. The two ski aces Domink Paris and Siegmar Klotz will also be in the field of participants.
