South Tyrolean medal shower in Auer

On Saturday the individual competitions took place in bright sunshine and high temperatures around 35°C. The athletes from Auer presented themselves extremely well in their home competition with 2x gold, 2x silver and 1x bronze, Pichl-Gsies won 2x gold and 1x bronze and St. Lorenzen completed the shower of medals for the South Tyrolean clubs with a bronze medal. In a highly exciting final competition with several position changes on the medal ranks, the Treviso 1 relay team (Lucrezia Zanardo and Marco Ammirati) ultimately prevailed ahead of Treviso 2 (Elena Ammirati and Andrea Boligon). The local heroes from Auer with Alice Cogilli and Georg Unterpertinger took third place.

South Tyrolean medal shower in Auer

This weekend the Italian Target Sprint Championship took place in Auer. The competitions were organized and held by the Auer sports shooters at the club's own Target Sprint facility in the Schwarzenbach sports area.
