Broomball: Buchholzer celebrate derby victory

Last Saturday, the Unterlandler Derby between Pochi `89 and Neumarkt was on the program in the Würth Arena.

The match started with a high rhythm and both teams fought for some good chances, but these remained unused. The two goalkeepers Rossi and Radakovich distinguished themselves several times and kept their respective goal clean. 0:0 at halftime and the second half continued seamlessly from the first. In the final minutes the intensity dropped a little and both teams seemed satisfied with a draw.

The match was also evenly matched in terms of penalty minutes, with each team having to play 4 minutes shorthanded. After the final whistle, the penalty takers were chosen and both captains, Steiner and Pedrinolla, missed their chance. Of the 6 penalties, only Christofoletti scored and Pochi secured a narrow 1-0 victory to keep up with Neumarkt in the table.

In the second game, Belluno defeated the Vikings from Leifers 6:1 and
thus overtakes Leiferern in the table.
