TT Südtirol: This start is impressive

The first national ranking tournament of the "Giornata Rosa" series took place this weekend in Cadelbosco di Sopra (Rheinland). ASV TT Südtirol was represented by four athletes – and won two outstanding bronze medals.

In the women's singles 51-200, Laura Depentori, seeded number 17, secured third place. Along the way, she defeated several higher-ranked opponents and delivered a strong performance.

Melissa Oprandi won her preliminary group convincingly, but was defeated in the round of 32.
Caroline Luini, who made her debut in the 3rd category, impressed with a brilliant victory in the group stage, but lost in the following two matches.

In the women's singles 1-50, Arianna Barani, a newcomer to the women's A1 team, won the second bronze medal of the day. Seeded number 3, she narrowly lost 2-3 in the semifinals.
Laura Depentori, who qualified from the previous category, missed the knockout phase here, but gained valuable experience against strong opponents.

In the final team ranking, which is based on the individual results of the weekend, the club from Bolzano took an excellent 6th place.
