The younger brother of Italy's tennis star and former world number six Matteo Berrettini is putting on a show in Bolzano. The number 427 is in the round of the best four at the 12th Sparkasse Alperia Trophy of the TC Bolzano, an ITF tournament with prize money of 25.000 dollars.
Jacopo Berrettini won the final match of the day on Thursday against Marian Tammaro (ITA/ATP 682) with a clear 6:0, 6:3. This makes him one of two Italians in the semifinals. There were six Italians competing in the quarterfinals.
