Future Bozen: Holzer in the round of 16, Wolf is eliminated

While Thomas Holzer from Kalter won against Marco Bortolotti in the first round of the $15.000 tournament in Bolzano on Tuesday, Matthias Wolf from Algund was eliminated early. Holzer benefited from Bortolotti's abandonment in the second set with a score of 6:3, 3:0, while Wolf lost to the Swiss Ehrat 5:7, 4:6. The top seeded Argentinian Nicolas Pastor had no problems in the starting round. However, the tournament's number 2, Enrico Burzi, was eliminated.
