Karoline Pichler: The stand-up woman in the ski circus

If there were a prize for stand-up women, Karoline Pichler would have won it several times. The 28-year-old from Petersberg has a body that has been battered by many injuries - but Pichler has never thought about giving up. Not even after another setback last season.

Although “last season” is a misnomer: the Azzurre speed team is still in ski training and is taking advantage of the optimal snow conditions due to the low temperatures these days. Most recently, Delago, Pichler & Co. spent 5 days at the San Pellegrino Pass. So exactly where Pichler tore the cruciate ligament in his left knee on January 30th.
