The Ahrntal is ready for the slalom queens

Everything is set for two exciting women's European Cup slaloms in the Skiworld Ahrntal on December 15th and 16th. The Queens of Goasleitn will cause a sensation again this year.

The FIS snow control gave the green light for the event to take place, which was only a formality due to the good snow conditions and the race-ready slope. The final start list is now complete with runners from a total of 24 nations. Italian women are numerically most represented, followed by Switzerland and Austria as well as Sweden, Germany and France.

Top international runners such as last year's Swiss winner Nicole Good, the Slovenian Andreja Slokar and the Czech Martina Dubovska, who was already able to call herself Queen of Goasleitn in 2020, will be there. The local South Tyrolean young hopefuls around Vera Tschurtschenthaler and Celina Haller will also fearlessly swing from the start house directly into the infamous steep slope of the Goasleitn piste.
