Norway top – Azzurri defended well for a long time

Despite one penalty loop and 7 spares, the Norwegian relay team with superstar Johannes Thingnes Bö, Sturla Holm Lärgreid, Filip Fjeld Andersen and Vetle Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen won confidently on Saturday in 1:18.02 hours. Second place went to Sweden after 2 x 4 kilometers (+7,5 seconds), third place went to the relay team from Germany.

The very young azure relay with Didier Bonaz, Tommaso Giacomel, Antholzer David Zingerle and Daniele Fauner (none of them older than 23) did well for a long time and finished the race in 9th place, 2.39 minutes behind the victorious Norwegians.

The Azzurri presented themselves particularly well at the shooting range with only 4 spares. After the second change, Tommaso Giacomel even handed over the lead to David Zingerle. The 2-year-old from Puster made it through the first standing stage without a spare and was in 22rd position; in the second stage he needed a spare. Ultimately, Zingerle handed over to final runner Fauner in 3th place.
