A biathlon world champion in wedding fever

After a strenuous season, the biathlon stars now have a bit of a break on their agenda. A world-class ski hunter used this for a slightly different bachelorette party.

A pub crawl, a trip to another country, maybe even a relaxing day at the spa: there are a variety of ways in which the bride-to-be can celebrate the bachelorette party with her friends. Biathlon superstar Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold has chosen a very special path.

The multiple relay world champion, who will soon be getting married, recently went on a ski tour with her friends. However, in a slightly different outfit: She wore a bridal veil, while her friends (including former biathlete Tiril Eckhoff) wore a specially made shirt. The group clearly had fun, as can be seen in the photos on Instagram.

Tandrevold himself was overjoyed. “My 17-year-old self would have let go of a lot of worries if someone had told him that this is what life would be like ten years later. It keeps getting better and better. “Thank you to the best gang in the world for an epic bachelorette party,” said the 27-year-old.

The ladies really had fun.

Tandrevold announced their engagement on New Year's Eve 2022. In June she will say yes to her partner Trygve Bendixen Markset.
