After almost 10 years: love for a biathlon great

He is the former biathlete who has won no less than four Olympic gold medals, twelve world championship titles and an overall World Cup. She is the beautiful TV presenter. In short: Emil Hegle Svendsen and Samantha Skogrand were a dream couple in Norway. But now, after around ten years, the two have separated emotionally.

A few weeks ago, the two announced the end of their love in a joint Instagram post. But without any anger or resentment. “After almost ten wonderful years together, we have decided to no longer be a couple,” they wrote alongside a photo that shows them happy together.

“We look back on our years together with nothing but love and gratitude,” the former dream couple continued. They have also started a family together and are parents to two small children. Their well-being is what matters most to the former biathlete (he retired in 2018) and the breakfast presenter.

The shared house is for sale “We are most grateful for our two children, whom we love and value more than anything. We are and remain a united family that wants to share big and small moments with our children. We have spent the last six months creating a new everyday life together. We still love each other very much and are looking forward to the future,” said the emotional post from the two. The separation process is currently well underway; the two recently put their shared house in Slemdal up for sale. Nevertheless, many people can only dream of such a harmonious love ending.
