Markus Windisch 16th in the sprint in Fort Kent
Individual Olympic champion and World Cup defending champion Emil Hegle Svendsen won the 16 km World Cup sprint in Fort Kent (USA) in minus 10 degrees, despite a penalty loop, 7,2 seconds ahead of the Czech Michal Slesingr. His Norwegian compatriot and World Cup leader Tarjei Bö finished third, 9,3 seconds back, although like Slesingr he had made no mistakes. Svendsen celebrated his fourth World Cup victory this winter today.
