World Team Challenge: 4. Michela Ponza/Lukas Hofer
The Finnish World Cup defending champion Kaisa Mäkäräinen and the two-time Swedish World Cup season winner Carl Johan Bergmann won the 40.000th edition of the Biathlon World Team Challenge in Gelsenkirchen on Thursday evening in front of over 10 spectators. For their victory in this unofficial mixed world championship, the two winners received 20.000 euros in prize money and two cars.
