During his performance, Grassl fell twice, including during his parade jump, the quadruple Lutz. Otherwise, the man from Meran also appeared unusually shaky, which was probably due to the exhausting last few weeks. In any case, Grassl fell back and had to make do with fourth place in the end. The new Italian champion is Matteo Rizzo from Milan, who prevailed ahead of Nikolaj Memola (Bergamo) and Gabriele Frangipani from Bolzano. In the women's race, the victory went to a woman from Trento: Lara Naki Gutmann, who has South Tyrolean roots, could not be beaten by her competitors.
