Favorite victories at the European Cup opener in Aosta
At the start of the European Cup for natural track tobogganists in Flassin/Saint Oyen in Aosta, the favorites prevailed. World champion Renate Gietl won the women's race ahead of the 15-year-old Carmen Planötscher from Völs, while Patrick Pigneter was able to hold his own in both the singles and doubles with Florian Clara. A total of 77 tobogganers from Italy and Austria took part.
