With their first ever win in New York, the Kansas City Chiefs have averted a completely false start to the NFL season.

Superstar Patrick Mahomes and his team beat the Giants 22-9, celebrating their first victory of the season on the third day of play. After the bitter Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Chiefs also disappointed on the first two days of play.

After a close first half, a touchdown pass from Mahomes to Tyquan Thornto after halftime sealed the victory. The Giants, however, remain winless this season.

Cleveland turns the game around

The Cleveland Browns also notched their first win of the season, beating the Green Bay Packers 13-10. The game was decided by a last-second field goal. The previously undefeated Packers had led 10-0 shortly before the final whistle.
