New York Jets stop losing streak thanks to Rodgers

The New York Jets, led by star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, have returned to winning ways in the NFL.

After five consecutive defeats in the North American Football League, the Jets beat the Houston Texans at home 21-13 (0-7). Rodgers threw three touchdown passes in one game for the first time this season.

Rodgers' 26-yard pass to Garrett Wilson in the final quarter was the highlight of the game: The Jets' receiver caught Rodgers' faceoff with one hand, giving them a 14-10 lead. "At first I thought I had thrown my pass to a decent spot - but actually I didn't do much for the touchdown," said Rodgers. "He made an incredible catch, that was a very important move."

With three minutes left in the game, Rodgers completed his third touchdown pass, which Davante Adams completed to make the score 21-10. Wilson tied the score at 7-7 with his second touchdown in the third quarter.

After their third win of the season, the Jets are in second place in the AFC East Division, while the Texans remain top of the South Division despite their third defeat of the season.
