NFL playoffs: Bucs and Bills confidently

The Tampa Bay Buccanneers secured their place in the second play-off round of the National Football League (NFL) with a strong performance.

Tom Brady's former team unexpectedly won 32:9 against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday and now faces the Detroit Lions. The Buffalo Bills are also still in the race after a 31:17 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, are now waiting for them.

The game between the Bills and Steelers was originally scheduled for Sunday, but could not take place due to the harsh winter conditions in the northeast of the USA. On Monday at least the playing field was cleared of snow.

Last season's Super Bowl participant Philadelphia came to an early exit after their sixth defeat in their last seven games.
