Broncos keep one of their best strikers

The Wipptal Broncos have announced the contract extension with Bryson Cianfrone.

The Canadian with an Italian passport is entering his third season with the blue and whites. Cianfrone already played for the Wild Horses in the 2021/22 season. The attacker collected 30 points (26 goals, 12 assists) in 14 games. His career began in Canada before he moved to South Tyrol for the first time for the 2020/21 season. The trained center played for HC Pustertal for one season before the aforementioned move to the Broncos followed.


In the season before last, the left-handed shooter played for the Falcons in the IHL. There, the Canadian scored 10 goals and 17 assists in 21 games. In the last championship, the 29-year-old was able to raise his level considerably. In a total of 48 appearances, the center collected an impressive 52 points, and was involved in 16 goals in the playoffs alone.
