Broncos rely on their own youth
The Wipptal Broncos announced the contract extension with one of their defenders on Tuesday evening.

Despite his young age (born in 2001), Alessio Niccolai has been an indispensable regular player for years. The defender started out in the youth sector of the Wipptal Broncos. He went through the entire system once before making his debut for the first team in the 2018/19 season.
In his career so far, the 23-year-old has already played 219 games for WSV and has been involved in a total of 61 goals. Last season, Niccolai scored an impressive 23 points. After several attackers and a goalkeeper, the first player has now also been confirmed in defense.
