DeLuca and Gröden go their separate ways
Anthony DeLuca signed a two-year contract with HC Gherdëina last year. But on Thursday, the club announced that both parties have mutually agreed to terminate the employment relationship.

The 29-year-old Canadian scored 36 points (67 goals and 49 assists) in 18 games in the Alps Hockey League last season and was considered an exceptional talent in Val Gardena and throughout the league. Where the gifted left-handed shooter will end up in the future is not yet known.
In the statement, the club wished its former player good luck for the future: "HC Gherdeina would like to thank Anthony DeLuca for his achievements and congratulates him on his impressive goal record in the Alps Hockey League. HC Gherdeina wishes Anthony DeLuca all the best for the future and much success on his future path."
