HC Gröden presents its royal transfer

The Gherdëina Hockey Club has signed its next foreign player. His name is Adam Brady, and he comes to Val Gardena with an impressive resume.

Last year, he was still scoring goals for this year's ICE newcomer, Ferencvarosi TC; in the future, he will lead the HCG attack. "Adam is a playmaker who always has an eye for the open teammate and reads the game excellently. At the same time, he also has an outstanding shot, which makes him a cool finisher. Brady also possesses leadership qualities. It's not for nothing that he was the captain at Ferencvarosi," explains sporting director Joel Brugnoli. "Wherever he was, he scored regularly."

The 29-year-old is a Canadian born in Delhi, Ontario. He began his career in the hockey capitals of Brantford, Hamilton, and Kingston. After being one of the top scorers in the OJHL during the 2014/15 season, Brady moved to the USHL, where he impressed with 24 points in 27 games for the Lincoln Stars. The 1,83'88" and 2020-pound center then transferred to Bemidji University, where he played for four years. In XNUMX, he made his professional debut for the Kansas City Mavericks of the ECHL.

The following summer, he ventured across the pond. Via Manchester Storm and the Nottingham Panthers, he landed in Budapest with Ferencvarosi in 2023. The center forward scored an incredible 117 points in 138 games. In 2024, he led the club to the Hungarian championship – as captain. That spring, the player and the club parted ways. The club will field a team in the ICE Hockey League next season. Brady will wear the number 10 at HCG.
