HC Gröden signs a former Merano player

As the club announced on Thursday, the contract with Tommy Delucca extended for another year, and Dylan Ghiglione A new player joins the Furie. "Dylan is gifted with a high level of game intelligence, a great willingness to learn, a hard worker in the corners, and goes where it hurts. After an outstanding season in the Italian Hockey League (IHL), he will now prove himself with us as well. Tommy, on the other hand, is distinguished by his great commitment and hard work. This is already his fourth season with the first team," emphasizes Sporting Director Joel Brugnoli.

Delucca has progressed through all the youth divisions at HCG, making his debut in the Alps Hockey League (AlpsHL) in the 2020/21 season. He has since played 66 more games. In recent years, the winger has also been a key player in the IHL Division I, scoring six points in 16 games last season. The 21-year-old will wear the number 7 jersey at HCG going forward.

Dylan Ghiglione, however, is a new face: The 25-year-old was born in Pavia and joined the youth system of the Swiss club Chiasso at the age of 13. After playing for Lugano and Ambrì-Piotta, he finally joined HC Lausanne in 2018, where he played alongside Matteo Luisetti for two seasons. He then played two strong years for Como before being signed by HC Merano in 2023.

Last season, he played for Varese. Playing for the Mastini, he scored an impressive 46 points (16 goals) in 42 games. The 1,78-meter-tall striker now aims to build on those achievements with HCG. Ghiglione is the Furie's new number 9.
