HC Meran relies on its own youth

HC Meran has pushed ahead with its personnel planning and extended the contracts with the two youth players Jakob Fuchs and Patrick Kuppelwieser.

The 20 year old Jacob Fox is now entering his third season with Meran. After years in the Meran youth team and at AHC Vinschgau in IHL Division 1, the striker joined the Adler senior team in 2022 and immediately impressed with his talent. Fuchs can only improve in terms of scoring points. Last year he had one assist in 40 games.

Also 20 years old Patrick Kuppelwieser joined the AlpsHL team last summer. In his first year in the senior team, the young defender's skills were repeatedly evident. With his stature and overview, he has all the necessary factors to become an integral part of the Adler defense. Kuppelwieser made a total of 41 appearances last year.
