Wipptal presents the Rabanser replacement

After Jakob Rabanser's serious injury, the Wipptal Broncos were forced to look for a new goalkeeper. Now the Wild Horses have found a replacement.

It was a shock for the Wipptal Broncos. Jakob Rabanser, the AlpsHL club's number one goalie, suffered a torn Achilles tendon during dry training and will probably miss the entire season. The club officials immediately looked for a replacement, which has now been found. The Czech Dominik Groh will guard the goal of last year's semi-finalist.

The 26-year-old has already played in the ICE Hockey League in his career. He played 34 games for Orli Znojomo in the multinational league. Groh's last stop was also Orli Znojmo, which now plays in the second Czech league. In 40 games last season, Groh achieved an impressive save percentage of 91,2 percent. Now the former Czech youth national player is expected to keep the net clean for the Wipptal Broncos.
