HC Gröden continues to work diligently on its roster for the upcoming season. Following the last two signings, HCG has finalized its offensive lineup.

Last week, the Furies completed their first on-ice training session, with Tobias Moroder and Giovanni Mandruzzato also participating. "Moroder is returning to his hometown club. Mandruzzato played a significant role for HC Meran last season. They are both established AlpsHL players," emphasizes Sporting Director Joel Brugnoli. "Both possess different qualities that will benefit the team. Furthermore, the duo will intensify the competition within the squad."

Moroder was developed at HCG, progressing through all the categories at his hometown club and making his Alps Hockey League (AlpsHL) debut at the age of 16. He played 180 games in the multinational league before seeking a new challenge in 2023, joining Alleghe in the Italian Hockey League (IHL). After returning to HCG, he played for the Fassa Falcons last season, racking up an impressive 22 points in 34 games for the farm team. Now, the robust center, who will wear number 24, is looking to prove himself once again in the AlpsHL.

Giovanni Mandruzzato is moving from Merano to Val Gardena.

The 21-year-old Mandruzzato, on the other hand, is a winger. The forward received his training at Asiago before gaining three seasons of international experience between 2021 and 2024. He first spent two years in Canada before playing in Sweden. He returned to Italy last season, scoring 14 points (7 goals) in 42 games for HC Meran during the regular season. The number 6 now joins the team that defeated him in the final.
