The Wipptal Broncos will continue to rely on their two homegrown players, Leo Kruselburger and Damian Leitner, next season. The club announced this in a press release.

The 19-year-old striker Leo Kruselburger He progressed through all the youth teams in the Wipptal region and joined the Falcons Brixen first team in 2023. There, he tallied five assists in his debut season. In the 2024/25 season, Kruselburger also made his debut in the Alps Hockey League. In 13 games, he scored two goals and added two assists. He recorded six points in eight games for the Falcons.
After an injury-related absence, the right-handed shooter returned to the ice for the playoffs, appearing in eight games. He was also a member of the Italian U18 national team last season, helping them achieve promotion to Division 1B. In the recently concluded championship, Kruselburger tallied four points in 41 regular-season games and one assist in the playoffs.
Also goalkeeper Damian Leitner Leitner remains with the Blue and Whites. The 19-year-old also comes from the Wild Horses' youth program and gained his first experience with the Wipptal Broncos' first team last season. Leitner already saw action during the preseason. However, he has not yet made a competitive appearance for the first team.
Damian Leitner is to be further integrated into the team.
