The Cavaliers' first legionnaires are twin brothers

The Unterland Cavaliers were active in the transfer market on Tuesday, signing their first two foreign players. They are just 20 years old and come to South Tyrol with interesting credentials.

Erik and Marek Potsinok are expected to lead the Cavs' attack in the new season. The two Estonians are moving from the Finnish second division to the Lower Austrians. Last season, the club's management had relied on two Latvians. However, both Kristians Samitis and Daniels Murnieks have left the team.

The Potsinoks were born in Tallinn and moved abroad at the age of 16, moving to Sweden. They stayed there only briefly, however, as they found their home with Sport in Finland in 2021. They progressed through all the youth categories at the Vaasa-based club before turning professional last year. While Marek played 27 games for KeuPa HT in the Finnish second division, Erik made only five appearances. Despite their young age, both have been part of the Estonian national team for years.

Wer kommt noch?

The Cavaliers' roster now includes 13 forwards, six defensemen, and two goalkeepers. On paper, the club could still sign three foreign players. However, it's doubtful that the full quota of foreign players will be used.
