The Cavs are continuing to work intensively on their roster after finally securing their place in the Alps Hockey League. Following the confirmed re-signings of Moritz Kaufmann, Tobias Brighenti, and Laurin Foppa, Alexander Sullmann will also remain with the team from the Lower Austrian region. The experienced defenseman is expected to once again provide stability on defense.
The 35-year-old has been under contract with the Cavs since 2019 and previously played for Neumarkt for many years. Last season, he collected 38 points in 12 games.
The Unterland team announced the contract extension with the following words: "With his many years of experience, he is a tremendous asset in defense. His ambition and passion for the sport, as well as his commitment to the team, are impressive – and a great role model for our many young players."
