A Cavalier is drawn to Germany

Luka Nyman, the Unterland Cavaliers' highest-scoring defender, has found a new employer. He will be chasing the puck in Germany in the future.

After two years in the netherlands, Luka Nyman did not receive a new contract with the Cavs at the end of last season. The 22-year-old defender from Finland was recently the AlpsHL team's third-best scorer with 39 points in 38 games.

In the 2024/25 season, Nyman will try to prove his skills in the third highest ice hockey league in Germany, more precisely on Lake Constance. He was given a one-year contract by EV Lindau.

“Despite his young age, Luka Nyman has already played several seasons in the AlpsHockey League. This speaks for him and his talent,” Lindau’s sports director Milo Markovic is quoted as saying on the club’s homepage.

Planning is underway in the lowlands

The Unterland Cavaliers, for their part, are in the final stages of searching for a coach. The name of the new head coach will be announced shortly. The transfer card players are then chosen, after recently saying goodbye to all the legionnaires from last year's squad.
