Jake Crespi comes to Klobenstein from the top Hungarian club Ferencvárosi TC and will strengthen the Ritten defense. The American is considered a team-oriented defender with a strong right-footed shot and outstanding skating skills.
Crespi was born on December 10, 1998, in Brighton, Michigan. The 26-year-old began his hockey career with Belle Tire's youth teams. From 2015 to 2017, he played at Brighton High, then spent two more years with the Tri-City Storm of the USHL. The 1,83'86" and 2023-pound defenseman played college hockey at Michigan Tech until XNUMX. After graduating, Crespi headed across the pond to Europe.
He knows where the gate is
The right-handed shooter signed with Ferencvárosi TC, which plays in the Hungarian First League, for the 2023/24 season. He has remained loyal to the Hungarian club for the past two years. In 104 games, Crespi contributed 69 points (16 goals), proving that he can not only hold his own defensively, but also contributes offensively and consistently scores points. This helped him win the Hungarian championship in his debut season in 2023/24. Now the Ferencvárosi TC chapter is coming to a close for the American, and he aims to win games and titles with the Rittner Buam SkyAlps in the 2025/26 season.Crespi is good for many scoring points. © TumbaszHedi
Sporting directors Dan Tudin and Alexander Eisath are also confident about their next foreign signing: "We are delighted to welcome Jake to our club. Jake is an outstanding skater and will strengthen our lineup in the coveted right-shooting defenseman position. He has offensive qualities and is known for being an absolute team player," they describe their new man.
