Meran extends with 2 strikers

HC Meran has confirmed two strikers for the upcoming season in the Alps Hockey League. The Eagles announced this on Thursday evening.

David Trivellato and Matthias Castlunger have signed new contracts with HCM and will also have their sporting home in the spa town next season.

Young striker Castlunger played his first AlpsHL season last year and was able to score his first points with a goal and an assist. The 20-year-old previously played for HC Eppan in the Italian Hockey League after coming through the youth sector of the Academy Bozen.

Matthias Castlunger is entering his second season with the Eagles.

Trivellato, on the other hand, was trained in Germany, more precisely with the Berlin Eisbären. After playing in the Oberliga, among other things, he moved to South Tyrol two years ago. The attacker has made a name for himself as an important team player at HCM, which is why his contract has now been extended for another year.
