Ritten relies on its young wild ones

Five young Rittners will continue to chase the puck in the offensive lines of the Rittner Buam SkyAlps in the 2025/26 season. In addition to the already established Tobias Graf and Alex Oberrauch, Max Oberrauch, Paul Innerhofer, and Paul Prast will also be part of the Blue-Reds' roster.

The two oldest of these five Ritten players have been fixtures in Ritten's roster since last season at the latest. 20-year-old Tobias Graf and 19-year-old Alex Oberrauch, both born in 2005, have made 2024 and 25 appearances, respectively, in the 59/60 season. With youthful vigor and no sign of fear, they chased the puck and the opponent, demonstrating their great potential. Graf scored eight points (two goals), having played for his hometown club since the 2021/22 season. Oberrauch has been playing for his hometown club since the 2023/24 season and, with four points (one goal), has also climbed onto the scoring list for the first time.

His younger brother, Max Oberrauch, played eleven games for the Rittner Buam SkyAlps last season. He also played for the former IHL farm team SV Kaltern Rothoblaas and their U19 team. The 17-year-old, born in 2007, recorded one assist in these eleven games. Paul Prast, born in the same year, also recorded his first point in the Alps Hockey League last year with an assist, appearing in three games. Otherwise, he primarily played for the U19 team, as did Paul Innerhofer, who made eight appearances in his debut season for the AlpsHL team.

"With these five young Ritten players, we have virtually completed our roster for the upcoming season," announced the two sporting directors, Dan Tudin and Alexander Eisath. "Tobias Graf and Alex Oberrauch have already proven that they have what it takes to thrive in the Alps Hockey League. Their commitment and fighting spirit have shone through in many games, which makes us very pleased. Max Oberrauch, Paul Innerhofer, and Paul Prast are still a bit younger and will try to follow the same path as Graf and Alex Oberrauch. They have talent and, if they can prove themselves, will make even more appearances in the 2025/26 season."
